Zoom JOIN  thesoulmovement !! Telephone Blitz—-Thursday, November 10th #theSOULmovement Many CPS students are out of school this Thursday. This is a perfect opportunity for a TELEPHONE CAMPAIGN.  The Plan:  get as many people as possible to call their Alderman’s office and the Mayor’s office on Thursday, November 10th.  It takes a couple minutes, and ver few words, like this:  “My name is _________.  I support the Chicago Public Library and don’t want any cuts to Library hours, staff, or services.  Please fully fund the Library.”     They counting the number of calls received in support of the Library, so they won’t take your name. Have your whole family call! and spread the word.   Let’s make those phones ring off the hook all day long! The phone number to the Office of the Mayor is 312-744-3300.  You can locate the phone number to your Alderman’s office at http://chicago.legistar.com/People.aspx.  If you use libraries that are not in your own ward, please call other Aldermen in addition to your own.
