Artist Statement: 

“Black engulfs the dying light

As he falls,

On frail wings of vanity and wax. - Alesana

I took this in my backyard where I set up a mattress I found a few months ago and flung myself onto it repeatedly until I got this. Changed the colors to black and white because I couldn’t get it to work, then I edited out the grass at the bottom and added a texture.
