Chicago Ideas Week x Hive Fashion: Design Challenge
Chicago Ideas Week (CIW) is about the sharing of ideas, inspiring action, and igniting change to positively impact our world. From October 8 to 14, 2012, CIW brings together some of the world’s most outstanding speakers to present their ideas and inspire the innovations of tomorrow at 80+ sessions across the city of Chicago. CIW aims to be the platform for sharing big ideas and making big things happen.
In partnership with Hive Fashion and YOUmedia, CIW is issuing a t-shirt design challenge to Chicago-area teens within the Hive Learning Network. Your challenge is to create a t-shirt graphic inspired by the big ideas of Chicago Ideas Week—themes such as innovation, inspiration, and creativity. The chosen design will be worn by staff, volunteers, and will be seen by the nearly 28,000 CIW attendees.
The top ten designs as judged by YOUmedia mentors will be submitted to CIW. The teens whose submissions are among the top three designs in the opinion of CIW staff will receive free admission to the CIW Edison Talks.
The top three designs will be posted online and the winning design will be chosen by popular vote. The winning designer will receive a prize worth $250 and his or her creation will be featured on chicagoideas.com.
